No matter what your Internet Connectivity needs are you can connect to Vantage

Vantage works closely with all of our customers to provide reliable quality hosted voice and data communication services. There are a variety of ways that your business can access our services whether it is utilizing your existing Internet connection commonly referred to as BYOB (Bring Your Own Broadband) or a Vantage Provided Access Option. The type of connectivity will vary depending upon such factors as:

The quality of your local Internet connection

Your number of phones or users

Your business’ overall data usage

The QoS (Quality of Service) level that your business needs in support of consistent voice quality

In general, the more users and data usage your business has, the wider the pipe or bandwidth you will need to connect to the Internet. Vantage supports both converged access methods as well as separate connections; one for Data/Internet + one for Voice.

BYOB (Bring Your Own Broadband) Connectivity Options

For most very small businesses with fewer than 10 users and average data use, an existing Internet connection is usually all that you need to connect to Vantage service. For many new customers, its just plug n’ play to begin calling. BYOB connectivity options offered by your local Internet service provider include:


Cable Modem

Fiber-Base Access (ex. Verizon FIOS)

Ethernet Connectivity

Standard Internet T1 service

Dedicated Connectivity Options

For those business deployments with more than 10 users, high data usage and/or a high volume of calling, circuits with Quality of Service (QoS) functionality may better support your needs. In those cases, Vantage will recommend, offer and support (at additional cost) the following Connectivity options:

Enterprise-grade SDSL with Class of Service

Internet T1 with Class of Service

Ethernet over Copper with Class of Service

MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) T1 with Class of Service

Point-to-Point Dedicated T1 with Class of Service

Vantage will also maintain (at additional cost) any of the above Dedicated Connectivity options installed by your service provider.

LAN (Local Area Network) Options

Vantage will also work closely with those customers who require large phone hardware deployments with LAN switches and routers in single or multiple office locations. We will engineer an efficient reliable design to satisfy your unique business voice and data needs. While we pride ourselves on our ability to provide unmatched QoS no matter what your hardware configuration, we strongly recommend and will provide upon request, Cisco router and switch hardware. Other LAN equipment manufacturers will effectively support Vantage MAXvoice but we recommend that each be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
